Macy Leponiemi, DVM

Macy, a Baraboo native, joined the HDVC team in 2022. Before enrolling in veterinary school, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from UW-River Falls. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Before returning to Baraboo, she enjoyed practicing small animal medicine in private practice and at shelters in southern Wisconsin. She is excited to establish herself in her hometown.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Leponiemi enjoys riding her
horse, camping, and exploring the outdoors.
