Samantha Steinich, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Sam Steinich is a Wisconsin native who is excited to be back helping pets in the Baraboo area. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Sam is passionate about preserving the human-animal bond and enjoys creating lasting connections with clients and patients. Her professional strengths include preventative medicine, dermatology, behavior, pain management, and end-of-life care. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is in the process of earning her certification as a Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian (CPEV). She also works part-time providing in-home euthanasia services to families in Madison and the surrounding areas.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Steinich loves hiking, growing lavender, music (she’s a trumpet player!), and spending time with her husband, two kids, and her lovable Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Quinn.
